Are Professionals verified?
Yes. All Professionals must successfully complete ProfesLink's verification process before being approved to offer services through the Platform. The specific verification requirements may vary depending on the profession, service category, and risk level, and may include identity, business, qualification, licence, insurance, or other relevant checks. Some Professionals may also complete additional verification checks depending on the services they provide.
Are payments secure?
Yes. Payments made through the Platform are processed securely through authorised payment service providers. Where applicable, client funds may be safeguarded and released as project milestones are completed or once the agreed work has been completed, helping provide additional confidence for both Clients and Professionals.
How do reviews work?
Clients can leave reviews following completed projects. Reviews help maintain transparency and allow other users to make informed decisions when selecting a Professional.
Am I protected if something goes wrong?
ProfesLink provides secure payments, verified Professionals, reviews, and a structured dispute resolution process designed to support fair outcomes for both Clients and Professionals.
Can I cancel a project?
Yes. Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the stage of the project, work completed, and the applicable Platform policies.
Is ProfesLink free for Clients?
Yes. Clients can create an account, browse Professionals, post requests, and receive offers free of charge. You only pay for the services you choose to purchase.
How do I know I'm hiring the right Professional?
Review profiles, verification badges, qualifications, ratings, reviews, portfolios, and experience before making your decision. ProfesLink provides the information you need to compare Professionals with confidence.
What is ProfesLink?
ProfesLink is a trusted platform where Clients can find, compare, and connect with Professionals for a wide range of services. Through detailed profiles, verification badges, reviews, and secure payment solutions, ProfesLink helps Clients make informed decisions and hire with confidence.
How do I create an account?
Click "Register" and follow the registration process. You can create an account as a Client or Professional depending on how you intend to use the Platform.
Do I need an account to browse Professionals?
You may browse public Professional profiles and categories without an account. However, an account may be required to contact Professionals, post requests, or access certain Platform features.
Is ProfesLink available throughout Greece?
Yes. Clients can search for Professionals by city, region, and service category throughout Greece.
Can I use ProfesLink for online services?
Yes. Many Professionals offer remote and online services such as tutoring, consulting, coaching, design, translation, marketing, and other digital services.
How do I know if a Professional is trustworthy?
Trust and safety are core principles of ProfesLink. All Professionals must successfully complete ProfesLink's verification process before being approved on the Platform. Clients can also review verification badges, qualifications, ratings, reviews, portfolios, and experience before selecting a Professional.
What does "Verified Professional" mean?
A Verified Professional has successfully completed ProfesLink's verification process and has been approved to offer services through the Platform. Depending on the profession and risk level, verification may include identity, business, qualification, licence, insurance, or other relevant checks. Verification helps Clients identify Professionals whose information has been reviewed by ProfesLink.
Can I ask for licences, certifications, or insurance?
Yes. Where relevant, Clients are encouraged to review qualifications and request additional information before engaging a Professional.
What do verification badges mean?
Verification badges indicate that specific information has been reviewed by ProfesLink as part of the verification process.
How do I pay for services?
Payments are made through approved payment methods available on the Platform.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. ProfesLink does not charge Clients any platform fees, commissions, success fees, or hidden charges. Clients only pay the agreed amount for the services they purchase. Standard payment processing fees, where applicable, are currently paid by Professionals.
When does the Professional receive payment?
Payments may be released according to project progress, milestone completion, and Platform policies.
What happens if I need a refund?
Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the project, the stage of completion, and applicable Platform policies.
Who can leave reviews?
Clients who have completed a project through the Platform may leave a review and rating based on their experience.
Can Professionals respond to reviews?
Yes. Professionals may respond to reviews in a respectful and professional manner.
Can reviews be removed?
ProfesLink aims to maintain a fair and transparent review system. Genuine reviews are not removed simply because they are negative. Reviews may be reviewed, restricted, or removed where they violate Platform policies, contain false or misleading information, or otherwise compromise marketplace integrity.
Can I update my review?
Yes. Where permitted by Platform functionality, Clients may update reviews to reflect changes or resolved issues.
What happens if a Professional does not complete the work?
Clients are encouraged to communicate with the Professional first. If the matter cannot be resolved, ProfesLink may assist through its dispute resolution process.
What if the work quality is poor?
Clients and Professionals should first attempt to resolve concerns directly. Where necessary, ProfesLink may assist through its dispute resolution process.
How do I submit a complaint?
You can submit a complaint through the Platform or contact our support team at support@profeslink.com. Complaints are reviewed in accordance with our Complaint Handling Policy.
What is the difference between a complaint and a dispute?
A complaint usually relates to behaviour, Platform issues, policy concerns, or user conduct. A dispute generally relates to payments, refunds, project outcomes, or service-related disagreements.
How long does dispute review take?
Timeframes vary depending on the complexity of the matter, the availability of evidence, and the cooperation of the parties involved.
Is my information secure?
ProfesLink implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to help protect user information and maintain Platform security.
Can I report suspicious activity?
Yes. Users are encouraged to report fraud, suspicious behaviour, policy breaches, or safety concerns as soon as possible.
What should I do if I feel unsafe?
If you feel unsafe, stop communication if necessary and contact our support team at support@profeslink.com as soon as possible. In emergencies or situations involving immediate risk to health, safety, property, or life, contact local emergency services immediately.
Does ProfesLink perform background checks?
Additional verification measures may be requested for certain service categories where appropriate and legally permissible.
Can a Professional cancel a project?
Yes. However, repeated cancellations without reasonable justification may affect a Professional's account or profile status.
What if I cancel after work has started?
Refund eligibility may depend on work completed, project progress, and costs incurred.
What if the Professional already purchased materials?
Verified project-related expenses may be considered when determining any refund.
